Today morning before flying i installed a camera (mobile camera) in my plane as i wanted to get a bird's eye view ........  ;D
What a fantastic start of a day i had.......... Am craving to try out FPV  (:|~
So just wanted to share how the world looks from the eye of a plane ;D
The bird is almost my size :-P

Nice! I remember the first time i tied my mobile phone to my plane; felt like a revelation :)

abhay

congrats sunlikestar,
dont know why, but i could not see the video  ???
I can take off and fly well. Its landing which sucks :banghead::banghead:

hyd_quads

Nice!
BTW, I was reminded of a guy on rcgroups who strapped his Galaxy S2 to his scratch-built quad for telemetric data. He said he flew it as high as 400m.

bhaveshsangani

Hyd_quads i punched a hole (camera key way) on the fuselage and kept the my mobile phone inside the plane .....not taken the risk of strapping it inside

Dharmik

Nice work bhavesh. Which phone you sent into the air?

bhaveshsangani

Mr Amit_delhi  : Thats a nice idea but my friend i am not using a phone which has a video calling facility , but its an awesome idea will do so wen i am rich  ;)
Mr. Dharmik : i used Samsung Wave 5253
Mr Gokul : it was not much of a risk cause i had mounted the phone inside .

Bhavesh bro please have a look at this

Even if you are only recording your buddies will have live fpv view. 2G plan is best to try.

bhaveshsangani

Nice idea Mr . Dharmik but ill be needing a phone which runs on Android , Symbian , Windows ....will be looking for one of these and try it soon +1.......thanks alot .........

dont worry, you can invert the video easily in the windows movie maker and also remember to flip it horizontally to get the correct left to right also
