some thing looks wrong.... 52in wingspan and .049 engine....?? looks like it has a .49-.72 engine and the "0" is a typo....

by the  pics  i  think it is god for a .15-.25..

superb build...  :hatsoff: :hatsoff:
check the below pic to  sort things out....!

.46 - 500-600 watts

Couple of things
It is not a 1/5 scale. You are good with the engines suggested. i.e. .049 - .074 or equivalent electrics.
Thirdly and most importantly I have serious doubts about the wing center section joint. Your build did not cater for dihedral while gluing in the root ribs and hence when you have joined the two halves there is a gap which has been filled with glue in the hope that it will hold. It will not and you risk in flight failure of wing joint.
Suggest have it looked over by some one experienced to correct the situation. And I hope that the joint has dihedral brace.

sir ,

dont u think .049 is small compared to the 1.3m wingspan...??  :headscratch:

missed out that pic ...! nice observation..    looks like it is just standing on the two  sheets and missing the root rib.. :salute:

Please check the AUW of the model as stated by the mfrs. Do not go with the wingspan alone.

680 gms...! seems fine... but  i would go  with a .10-.15...! .049 for a 2ch is fine....!

BTW... update  on the tiger moth  (:|~ ...! looks like the XUV500 was specially brought for that...!

Those are brushed motors and less efficient. Suggest you go with brushless and lipos
