Thanks to Gene, this is my version of the 36". Built to plan with 5mm depron, except the elongated Rudder,a balsa spar on a kfm4 wing for additional strength and a balsa strip on the fuze for stiffness. Fuze weighs 8oz.

Servos: 3 x HXT900

It weighs 15oz without battery. and AUW is 17oz.

Sourced some #1.3 9mm EPP from rcfoam.com and built a YAK54 30" (GeneBond). I wanted some thing that I could carry around in my car and fly when ever possible. Need to do a bit more painting and will try her out this weekend. The setup is,

Motor: Hextronics 1500
Esc: Towerpro 12A 9gm
Servo: HXT500 (4)
Battery: Rhino 460 (3s), Zippy 800 (2s)
Prop: 8x4 on 3s and 10x4 on 2s

She seems to be more happy on the 3s.

Neat builds and very clean - I love that!

Thanks ashJR :)

Took her to the field today. After fixing the CG issue, she flew well. Forgot to take my cam today, but managed to capture her first proper flight using my phone cam.

But today, I enjoyed flying the 36"  version :D it was a blast. Being a 3D beginner, she is perfect for trying out pretty much any thing. She flies stable both sides up. Next time will make sure to have the cam around.

Even after a lot of abuse, this little 30" yak keeps on flying! Investing on epp did payoff and helps a lot in learning 3D :)

The 36" version is so far the most stable foamy I ever built :) 0 roll coupling required in KE and 0 elevator input required in inverted as well as normal level flight !!! Right now am trying to learn both KE and Rolling Circles/Harriers .

Here is the 30" version same day.
