Looks pretty...
May I know what is the name of this model ? Also, where are the plans available or this is a self designed one?

Some shaping and gluing together done and put rudders on and elevator for a look at my new design.

Now that looks like a super steady and super tough plane already.....  Is this for me or Allan Sanders???  You have a few on order Mark!! Churn them out quick so we can fly them from our waterlogged fields.. It might snow in 2 weeks who knows!!
But than this will take off from snow too..;)

I'll have to say that this is great design. Different from the regular ones... I too would be making something of this sort very soon.

Some colour decoration ideas and technical stuff.

My biggest concern is if your crosswind, low and slow, with all that side area it may be tricky if your going slow.

You wait for ages and -Two turn up - like London buses -

Now that you have sufficiently intrigued our constructive instincts, my Irish (?) friend Wibberely, would you be so kind enough to point out the links to the actual plans of this wonderful creation. It just so happens that I have a cache of Depron just sitting around waiting to be utilised and I can't think of a worthier project to indulge in.

Regards.

Thank you -

Utkarshg13 from Lucknow - for your comments - about it being a nice and pretty design.

VC - you for your comments - the design is my own, and the design method is been in a way I call - lego designing - let me explain.

When your a child you make things with plastic bricks - lego - well this is how this model has been designed. Trying old wings I had around and other Items for size a few little sketches and cardboard to draw on and this is what you get.

I will draw up plans so you can build one yourself, I will do this after I have flown it, it may need alteration or adjustment.

For a more detailed design and build blog go to this link in Europe:

It dinner time so see you later
Keep watching for plans.

Nice one Mark. Good to see them ready for covering and adding power pods.
Alan wants his as a kit and I want mine ready as a flying model after 1st flight. You have all the necessary bits from me including extension wires etc. Please let me know if you need anything else.
White red blue is good combo but we decided mine was going to be Air India  theme ; white and red.
Cannot open the on phone, will watch on you tube.

Good night.

Thinking now about set-up of elevator and rudders, rudders will from one side which will have the connection from the servo and transfer that movement / effort via a connection to work the other rudder.

Using fishing line for control, the rudder and elevator servo's will each be in the front of the side booms and by -'closed loop' - control will be passed to the rear of the model. Reason for using this material is; with all the flexing the Epp model will be doing when landing frequently ( not crashing ) fishing line will be good.

Development on 'Skimlander' wing, version with thicker wing section and lighter via built up with ribs ( 80% lighter ) saving 220 grams in foam weight.
