Not your regular brittle depron foam, It's a EPP Material which is quite expensive, plus the all UV printed parts adds up the cost, not only foam parts, it comes with all the carbon stripes, tubes, and the rods, all the hardware material including pre-cutted and printed polycarbonate parts, and all small parts needed are there, also free shipping anywhere in India.

So please mind your words calling it "Piece of Foam' and Have some dignity towards someone designing, testing, and producing such make in India products, even exporting them.

Beg your Pardon, if you feel something wrong.

I just bought a 39inch wing span full balsa laser cut kit from sharma model for 4500. With all the added features you said. Any way. I am not buying (literally) but others are free to decide.

THERE IS NO COMPERISION BETWEEN TA HORIZON'S 3D PLANES & WHAT YOU BOUGHT . BOTH ARE OF DIFFERENT  CATAGORY.

Sure they are different. I am comparing epp foam and balsa (much more costly balsa should be). Thats why I mentioned wing span. Any way my job was to create price awareness among the new comers to this thread. That's done. So no more posts from me.

As I mentioned earlier. As per my understanding its extremely over priced. Considering its made of epp foam. To build your own you can refer to https://www.vortex-rc.com/product-category/building-materials/epp-foam-sheets/ to get the materials.

Any product, ever, is not valued solely on the material costing. Due consideration must be given to the design, innovation, and performance

Agreed but provided its a profile 3d model still in  my opinion extremely over priced.

@shirsa2001,

You have made your point. Yes it is expensive. Now you can let it rest.
If it's too expensive for the market, it will soon fail.

I didn't buy one. Not because it is too expensive.
But because it is too expensive FOR ME.
But I hear that the response has been very good in India and abroad.

Perhaps it's not intended for the budget end of the market.
Perhaps aimed at people who have the necessary skills to enjoy flying it, can afford to do so, but perhaps lack the time and/or skills to replicate it.

Like Mercedes cars. I read in the papers that there are 5000 pending orders!

If you get to see one, and see it flying with the offered flight pack, you'll be surprised at the quality, engineering and performance.

Anyone who sees a demo, and can afford the price of the PNP version, will probably buy it at once!

Criticising someone is one thing. Offering an equivalent at a lower price is another.

(A cheapskate like me just builds a cheap copy)

Sir, actually I was not talking about the pnp one just the profile EPP Foam kit is around 5K. I saw them selling in different whats app groups previously. Thats perfectly ok as most the groups got mostly experienced fliers only, who can judge. This forum is the first touch base of the novice fliers who got minimum idea about value for money in model aircrafts. My posts are aimed to them.

How did you decide this forum is only for entry level fliers? That would mean all other posts are irrelevant? I think you are just trying to make an issue of a non-issue and time passing

@shirsa2001,

I'll repeat what I said earlier.

"You have made your point. Yes it is expensive. Now you can let it rest.
If it's too expensive for the market, it will soon fail."

Remember that your point of view is YOUR point of view.
Others may differ.

So can you stop your campaign please?

No hard feelings, but please don't go on and on propagating your perception...
