After making my Micro-1, I continued my experiment, with 60% more wing area than Micro-1 resulting in MICRO-2.
The AUW is 53.6 grams.
The gear:
1. 3.5 Grams brushless motor/ with mout etc = 5 grams
2. 0.8 Grams ESC
3. 3 grams 1 cell 240maH
4.Assan rcvr
5. Micro servos 2.2 grams each 2 nos.
Maidened it and it flies well, slow and steady, cannot take much wind and not expected.
pl see the build photos.

some more photos
some more photos
will post some videos when wind calms down.

Please do consider posting sources of the electrics. That would be very useful information for others :)
And also materials used. Looks like depron sheet (3mm) though. Source of depron (other than at the flying field ;-))) would be good to know.

all the sources are there in my micro1 thread.
material sanded 3mm to 2mm depron.
source of depron ????. old stock from fellow modellers.
wow!!! now ur inspiring more!!!!!!!!!
here is a video taken today.
since i took using my crude Hatcam, the plane is out of frame at few places. pl bear with me.
Slightly windy and some gusts. still it flew very gentle and steady. On an absolute calm day or indoors it will be wonderfull.
I am uing a 240mah, single cell lipo weighing only 6 grams. With this i am able to fly for more than 15 mins.

Got the message. thanks Anwar.
I was just making it easier for people to locate the source of all the items in this thread itself :)

sure Anwar, i should have done it on my own. thanks anyway!
pl watch a video of flying this plane at almost walking speed. it was a bit windy, but ok.
thanks for watching

simply amazing!!!!!
hello sir nice plane and video
i have one doubt in the first pics you have cut 4 slots and removed
depron for reducing weight
and covered it with red sticker.if its not covered will it affect the flight
charateristics.
thanks

Ashta sir,
please share the build plan

dear dileep balan,
there is no plan as such. just made it as per the pictures shown.
Can you please post the motor used, prop and dimensions of the tail. I have a very old
Y-bar wing that I plan to mount on a slow stick fuse. May be I can bring this oldie to life like you have done here.
Happiest modeller I suppose on this forum - create what you like and enjoy flying your creations :-))
thanks. motor is
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9996
prop is 5x4.3
Tail is about 10 inches wide. Cut in that shape. The boom is approx 14 inches

Hello,
After an year almost, I thought of modifying this model to take 2 cells, marginally modifying the weight. But with this it became so nice a model. Take off and landing are smooth. Pl see a video taken in the nearby park. A bit windy day, gusty so plane is being thrown around a bit. It will be so nice to fly this on an absolute calm day.
This palne is virtually indistructable. Just thro it, it will glide and land. While flying, just cutting the throttle, will make it land on its own. With two batteries and 6 grams esc, the auw is approx 75 grams.
thanks for watching
Once again the parts used are:
I used 3.1 gram motor

Only the ESC link works, all other links to hobbyking goes to "Page no longer available" error. could you please update the links once more.

Yet another little gem from the Maestro!
replaced.
thank you VC.
Ashta Ji,
Marvelous built  {:)} {:)}. You are a real Inspiration sir.
You have motivated me to get back to my original passion of micro. I have blue arrow two cell 240mah Lipos and 3gms brushless and gear driven brushed micro motors which can take a 3-4 inches prop. Let me build the same for my kids. Param and Vineet will be very Happy with this.
PS : Request to Admin/ MOD to edit the last youtube link with the full http:/ for the link to work properly please.
thank you Sundaram velar. Vice versa. your kind words inspires us too...
my best wishes and love to Param and Vineet.
Astha Sir,
Your are trend setter as always, I can see more people going for micros now.
I was just planning to build a Micro for Yash, your build would be a real inspiration
Thanks for sharing
Nice to see you back Ashta sir!! Brand new runway awaits you!!
Yeah Ujjwal
We want to see mature flyers like Astha Sir
Thank you Akshay and Ujjwal.
Here are the dimensions.
Hope it will help in making these.
attched pl find.
Also here is a video take today. For a calm wind one has to start early and hence the light was poor.
From 3 min 15 sec owards it is flying on its own. You can see the Xmitter shown and even the xmitter just left on the ground.
Thanks foq watching

Very stable flight {:)} :salute:
Ashta Sir,
How much will be the length of the fuselage? 75% of the the wing span is good? is this right calculation?
(Apologize if I'm asking a generic question again)
Regards,
Dileep
one more pic attaced fo dimension
length of fuse alone is 150mm+ 180mm for the fuse extn in the front(Black)
