this is the Build log of Park Master 3D (http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_46&products_id=665)Everything came neatly packed, all parts in its slot, well laid out.
(a) Pretty simple, beautifully laid out directions, A few Critical areas are
(i) Follow the instructions Meticulously, like not putting the second aileron before sliding in
the wing, not fixing the second wheel etc
(ii) Slots for the hinge can be tricky, used Vernier to measure the centre before making the
slot
(iii) Used 2218 Motor, should be good for 3D (http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=100_93&products_id=517)
(iv) Drop Bond CA 190 is safe on this Elapor, however i used Evotite
(v) Do not glue Undercarriage fairing to the fuse, shock transfer to the fuse will be without shock absorbed
whichever surface you keep the wing after applying glue make sure the wing doesn't stick to that surface
Aileron to wing root clearance is just 1-1.5 mm, make sure you have it otherwise aileron will foul with the wing
There is a 2 1/2 mm dihedral on each wing, that will be 5 mm on one wing tip if the other wing is parallel to the ground
Batt compartment is small for 2100mah 3S HK batt
There is no tail wheel, any ideas ???
Put a wing skid there, RCD has some. Control horn can also be used as skid.
Good idea, i got two sets in the same shipment for my Spit and Cap, will put one, will upload the photo.
mine, with the tail skid fitted
I wanted pdf plans for this. Is it available?
BTW it is a wonderful plane. Palash from IHC was flying at our college. When i asked him the price he quoted it at Rs 10,000. Luckily we have more dedicated Lhs's like RCD.
before sticking them together, i copied it onto a depron, this week i can bring it for you rohit, cut it and build it
Hi Augustinev,
How meticulously you publish you build logs, I really appreciated your spirit of sharing.
I see clearly good composite plastic foam and excellent design.
Thanks for sharing

Hey so you are coming to RCTC this week, I am excited to meet you ;D. I thought you came to RCTC yesterday, i wanted to come but due to Holi, i didn't dare to step out of my house.
Nice going Wingco :)
Thanks Karthik
(a) reinforced Motor mount with hot glue, 2218 has the capability to tear the mount apart
(b) Went with SLS on the skid, saw Santhosh's post later
(c) Moved the batt as far back as I can , CG is at 92 mm instead of 110 mm. Any ideas?
(d) Batt woudn't fit in height had to sand the slot a bit
(e) Used 50 Amps ESC from HK, could've used 30 Amps decided to go with 50 Amps for starters, 2218 with Mystery 30 Amps ESC ran slightly warm last time around.
(f) Had only one, the best in its class Power HD Servo, therefore, decided to go with 9 gms HK servos. Hot glued it with a option of removing it later, as and when RCD/ anyone else stocks it, will replace it with power HD.
(g) Used recommended 10x4.7 Composite SF Prop (http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=39)
Pricing
RCFORALL sells it for 9800+350 :Rs: for shipping (http://cgi.ebay.in/MULTIPLEX-PARKMASTER-/150564215584?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item230e539b20), website says 2x 18 gms servos,it is a typo, you will required 4x9 gms servos
RCD Charges 6948 :Rs: (with 5% Vat) and i think, about 300-400 :Rs: for shipping
I think my motor is overpowered for the model. in less than half throttle she is doing wonderful hover.
Model has four thrust adjuster nuts with that you can adjust downthrust and sidethrust
With Decals Done, CG issue to be sorted out, looking for some choice
waiting for the videos :headscratch:.hxt900 servos are not good for this, use some high speed servos
was impatient that's why mounted this servo with hotglue, will remove it later
Will post maiden pic tomorrow , meanwhile , balanced it with a Roller bearing from center support bearing of Jet Engine, Canopy painted with Acrylic, looked for a side profile of a 3D pilot, google did not give any satisfactory options, therefore modeled myself,
Happy Landings WingCo.........
thank you, pics tmrw, flew today, not on my cam, on a official cam, thats why tmmrrw
Flew 6 sorties in the morning, sorry no pics permitted there, where i flew, few issues cropped up,
1. 2218 is way too powerful for the model. therefore changed the motor, pics soon
2. Prop and prop nut came off in hover (with 2218), thankfully i was hovering high, a quick stall turn gathered just enough speed for a kisser touchdown. i wonder how? did i not tighten it properly ???
3. Batt fell off in a knife edge (Wasn't fixed with a velcro, thought it fit like a glove in its slot, i was wrong) wire got wedged between fuse and the aileron, landing was with rudder and elev (Like our GWS Slowfly) , no issues there, thanks to XT 60, it held.
Rest of the three sorties were gr8
PS
maiden was as suggested in the book, 30% Aileron 50% Elev, -50 Expo on Aile and Elev, In this config she is like a very docile trainer, nothing fancy about it, now throw s/w 'B' (Thats what i assigned) she is a monster, roll plane is extremely snappy.
PPS
Pics and video soon

PPSpics and video soon

Which motor are you using now?
2217/6 1500 kv from sai (rcforallin)

Gusty sir! Dont tell me you are putting a Sealing Iron to correct the CG :) :)

by any chance have u copied it to papaer so that it will help builder like me !!!!!!!!!
Johny, silly, i was trying to iron out the bubbles in the decals, worked like a charm (Book says put it in sun before stickin and it was raining here, Norwesters)
With a new motor attempted hover and torque roll in the drawing room, broke a crystal glass :banghead: anyways pics for you
How was the performance with the new motor.
Oh i cant wait for the plans.
Motor is good just that reserve is slightly less, real fast tailslide arrest, may be an issue, will let you know
too bright you can't see the aircraft clearly, that the max i can expect from my 'Help', handles like a charm, even in moderate winds, anyways video for you
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hGk5FhL7fs
Sir i am waiting for a video of your YAK from Praveen..i have the extra from the same manufacturer.
Regards
Ankur
yak needs some serious work, its fuse ribs have become kinda loose, i am going to have to remove the coating reinforce it and put a new coating back on, it really was tested to beyond its limits, incl flick rolls
only some glimpses of the aircraft, is there anything wrong with my eyes ;)
better video will follow {:)}
ParkMaster's cousin with the Parkmaster, FunJet, I wouldn't waste a thread on it's buildlog, it is easy as a breeze, a few things for consideration for funjet build.
(a) CG Mark is on the underside of wing, since it is a small aeroplane, please balance CG accurately
(b) With 2200 mah 3s Hk batt, you will require nose weight
(c) keep the throws right a shade lesser the better, she can be quite a handful at high speeds
(d) adjust the thrust balances correctly, see you tube, too much of downthrust can ruin your model at launch
Added a little twist to tale, added a spinner, got it from praveen (PVN2000)
Alright after 87 sorties, here is the run down.
1. Superb flier, does Flat spin inverted spin like a charm, ht loss during power off spin is 10-12 feet (Measured using triangulation), Knife edge loop is good, lower portion can be tricky, Rolling turns are gr8, Co-ordinated use of top rudder is a must, For Kulbit (Frolov chakra) - See below, for V8 rudder is a must or else she losses direction 10 deg to the side of the roll even with a touch of forward pressure, for Hover you will require DR, High rate is not very clean, use Elev flap mix for harrier and inverted harrier
2. 9 Gms rudder servo gave up on the 45th flight, changed to 16 gm
3. Motor mount is bad, had to reinforce it with CF Rods (See CF Reinforce) , canopy joint too is weak had to reinforce there too
4. Tailskid did not work, made a tailwheel out of sons toy and Umbrella Wire worked for 53 flights
5. Rudder push rod is flimsy, flexes during push, changed to cycle spoke
6. Use of flap makes it a easy, slow power on landing
7. Hand launch only after careful thrust balance, high power hand launch can make it torque roll on launch
8. Hot Glue Jindabad
Some Memorable moments
(a) Motor mount, motor flew off in flight during hover thrice, managed to recover twice off a stall turn, once i was very close to ground, except rudder came off its hinge nothing happened
(b) One sortie was a dedicated Kulbit and inverted Kulbit sortie, with -85% of Ele→Flap on Switch E, after about 15-20 Kulbits wing folded in flight and she entered into a uncontrolled spin, as a last resort inverted the aircraft, the wing straightened , did a inverted approach , got wings level just before touch down, subsequently re-enforced with full span CF Rod (See Image)
(c) tried toppling Thermocole cup with rudder in a hover, after a lot of practice, successfully toppled (The best moment with Parkmaster)
(d) Prop and Prop nut flew off so many times, lost count (Parkmaster Log book says 17 times).
(e) Used 7 types of motor as an experiment including EDF motor (Turnigy P2627L EDF Outrunner 4200kv), Presently flying on 2212, didn't want to be too power full for my son.
(f) While hovering over my 2i/c's house lost prop and prop nut, 10 people and good 3 hrs of combing operation it took to find the prop.
of course Futaba Orange Rx on this too,
Videos pleaseeeee
Rohit
at 0530 in the morning, there is nobody in the field, i am going to go FBC way, puting a cam on the shades.
PS
Congrats, that was your 500th post and join the Forum Hero Gang
Oh yeah didn't notice that thank you!!!
BTW why don't you get your parkmaster at the RCTC and ill shoot a proper video with my cam. It would be very helpful for beginners like me.
yeah and the depron plan

If possible do upload the plan by either taking pics of the sheet it was copied onto or any other innovative way. Would be gr8
Not a bad idea, Well, Some Pics of PM Flying
Some More, Landing in the middle of a hockey , Cricket and a Football match was tricky had to manage ldg in a 6' corridor
Ok after flying for 237 sorties on this beautiful bird, i have decided to put Glow Engine on it. AP 09 (http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=58_60_90&products_id=641). Following measure taken :-
1. Motor mount is reinforced further with CF Rods and Cycle spokes,
2. Heat shield from Real jet engine and Silicon Wool fixed around the area where there will be heat.
3. Going to mount the engine 90 Deg, dimensions are perfect,
4. Parachute hairoil bottle fits perfectly in the batt compartment,
5. will make a aaa batt bat pack.
Discussed with some senior members, this will be the first time ever on a parkmaster. want to see what multiplex has to say about it.
Great going gusty sir!! how ever did I misS this thread.
This is going to be fun!. Will attract lots of views on youtube, all the best
if u succesides i will send mine there, all the best
Santhosh,
Most welcome, i have another small engine in stock, let us see if this succeeds
most memorable moment happened today,
Ran into electrical like force was good enough to create short circuit, 'Bathi Gul' in entire station, some transformer gave up. i took my undamaged parkmaster and ranaway. Contemplating whether to own up though(It wouldn't matter though)
