Surely good motor for this model. I am installing the same on mine.

bokilap

Does this motor have front mounting holes?
If not then how to mount this motor on this plane?
Redesign the motor mount? or reverse the shaft?
If reverse the shaft, then what is the correct procedure?

Sorry i am a newbie, lots of questions  :help:

@majraj
Thanks for the highlight.
How exactly does one do the performance comparision here?
I could not make out much difference from the spec (ofcourse the KV).

Sorry for the delay but here are the pics after 10 or so flights.

Upgraded the stock tail wheel with this one.

another upgrade for battery bay cover. Earlier it was fitted with 4 screws so had to unscrew everytime for a battery change. now its easier.

better look

also installed a on-off switch and a battery monitor.

Isnt the motor on pilatus a lill overpowered for it

CrazyPilot

NO. The extra power compensates the big battery weight.

@ crazypilot: where do you get those motor mounts used in your both planes...? Did they come along with ARF or you purchased them separately..?

CrazyPilot

Sir, I purchased them separately but they also come with motors and are available at HobbyKing too. A wide variety of mounts are available on HK for every type of plane and use. Thx

Hi Crazy Pilot,
Dont you think that the Tail wheel system is mounted in wrong way?
