Pilot (OK Model Co. ) Akromaster in Corro and Electric

Originally designed as a Balsa Model for 25 size engines, this has been adapted to corro.

Brief Specs: Fuselage - 990 mm  39"
                  Span - 1360 mm      54''
                  Wing Area  - 27 dm2
                  Weight - 1500 to 1600 g
                  Channels - 4
                   Engine - 25

For anyone making this, I would recommend narrowing the fuse front by 1''. It's too wide - guess it was originally supplied with a cowling, with dual air intakes so the width was to accommodate that

I will be using the following power plant:

Motor : 3536-1400 NTM
ESC    : HK 60 A
Prop   : 11*5.5
LiPo    : 3300 3C 20s

Wing is 3 mm Corro, Fuse and Horizontal Stabilizer are 4 mm, Vertical Stabilizer and Rudder 3 mm doubled to 6 mm.

The spar is 12 mm balsa doubled in the centre portion

Servos: 2 of 17 gm Metal Gear (Elevator & Rudder)
            2 of 10 gm Metal Gear (Ailerons)

Wing bolted

I make the supports as in the picture above, and trial fit the wing with rubber bands. Then drill through, and remove the wing; fit blind nuts into the support plates

Sir,
Besides the quality of professional workmanship and the quality of the accesories used, it is the small details that blow me away.
This time it is the rivets on the windscreen...
