Sir, Excellent built. But I am not able to see PICs......( I have seen it on the BOLTZ Whatsapp)

May be its office LAN or some security thing, request you to put pics the normal way on RCI.

In case you want to put High quality images you put both so that everyone is able to see your fabulous builtz.

Lovely plane Sir  :salute: :salute: :salute:
Always make nice and Attractive Look Model.

sanjayrai55

Taitil-bhai, thanks  :thanks:

Haven't seen very much of you on RCI. Hope to see more builds from you  :D

I find wide fuses great because of the large volume that one gets inside. They do add to the drag, but if the front of the fuse is adequately tapered, I believe the drag/air block can be smartly tackled with.
Look forward to the maiden.

Sanj compared to MPX Acromaster, how different is this in specs and characteristics?

Also now that you have perfected the build and planes, which model flies the best in your opinion... I mean which model flies best at slow speed but is good in aerobatics at fast speed too.....   Which one is the most stable model out the ones built so far?

You recommended Spad Cap 232 ..I have got that on the build should be read soon... Is coming to around 1,6KG without Lipos... Lets see how it flies??

Need to build one of these two next; .......Chris Foss Acro Wot or MPX Acromaster! Any idea where I can get some plans?

sanjayrai55

Dee this has no link whatsoever with the MPX Acro. That is a 3D, and this was created in the 1970s when 3D had not yet entered aeromodelling

A model with very good slow flying characteristics - and good aerobatics at high speed? Most of the corro ones I've built have met their demise through the dreaded tip stall at low speed, mostly on the landing approach. So no, have not really come across something like the MPX FunCub

1.6 kg - something is wrong Dee! Mine was 1.1 Kg without LiPo.

I will weigh the wing and fuselage separately and upload... Ended up fitting metal gear 17gram servos throughout. The lipo hatch is 6mm Depron (2 sheets of 3mm with scrim tape in between) on the fus with hot glue instead of chart paper... Also needs some nose weight as the balance point is not as desired...

Was just reminiscing the very sad end of this model. No, it didn't crash. Was unsighted, and went off the field onto the road.
Never found it

Sanj,
My Spadcap met the same fate...Its lying in the Rapefield crop somewhere. I left my number with the farmer but he never called so either it was chewed up by the combine harvester or he has passed it on to someone.. ahh never mind..
However my Akromaster is coming up very nicely, will post some more images on the blog soon..

All the best, and waiting for it :D

Nearly completed the Akromaster today.. Will post the blog on a new thread.. Sanj you have probably made 10 models in the time it has taken me and Allan to make this one. :)  But we have had fun and its been very enjoyable.. Thanks for your inspiration. All we have to do now is fly it... :)
