@ Harshit. its not necessary to be precise on the recommendation !! you can change with any similar components.. like i am going to use Wolfpack 500mah 25C 7.4V.

That's a really nice plane. Please do post a flight video once you fly. I wanted to ask how difficult this build would be for a complete noob to scratch builds and planes in general. I want to build a small plane soon and I was considering the FT Mini series since I do not have a lot of space to fly. Would you recommend this plane for me?

johnywalker8pm

Hi SK.

This is a easy build and easy to fly plane. you can go for it. Though its not a high wing trainer model still the dihedral wings will give the stability. i will upload the video soon.

Thank you  :hatsoff:. I will definitely try to build it once I find some Depron sheets.

rcrcnitesh

You can also build the scaled down version of the blubaby 24

I prefer the FT Mini series since I can use the same electronics (power pod) for multiple planes. Anyway, I will only start in a couple of months since I used up my budget on my quadcopter.

rcrcnitesh

You can use those elecs in another build too.

Blubaby is a better one for beginners.

I will ask FT whether they are coming with a beginners mini.

@johny cam you tell me the material you is it depron or bio foam and is the weight of plane increased by laminating it with paper sheets both side and how mm sheet did you used

controlflyer

Awesome build, I just love the feeling of a building a beauty from scratch.
keep up the good work!

Btw, what color scheme are you planning?
Money flies when the transmitter is ON...

johnywalker8pm

@Harshit

This is home made Dollar tree foam board you can say  :giggle:
Normal foam sliced with DIY  foam cutter, little less than 3mm covered with drawing sheet on one side and the plan printed on a copier paper is on other side glued with diluted Fevicol.

johnywalker8pm

Thanks @ controlflyer
Will keep it white.

harshit batra

is same mm sheet can be used with other planes of flight test, and where did you got dollar tree foam
and is this plane good for learning flying i crash so much that my every plane after one or two take off's becomes a piece of scratch foam
