Built my first MICRO SPAD .
The plane is based on the Tuffy  design from RC Groups but Modified  especially the wing and the material.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1000670&page=10
The over all proportions are that of the Tuffy design.

This project  was initiated by Saju who is making the full size version hopefully .

Specs :
Wing Span : 18"
Fuse length 12 "
Wing Area : 54 sq. in.
AUW : 110 gms

Motor :  Turborix 2900rpm/v D1811 RC 10g Indoor Plane Outrunner Brushless Motor
ESC : RCFORALL 10 amp ESC
Battery : ABF LIFe 7.4V 300 mah
Servos : 2.5 gm Blue Arrow Servos
Receiver : Stripped Down : Turborix Micro receiver
Prop : 4030 ( 4 x 3 )
Fuse : Cut Slow Stick Fiberglass fuse

It flew  great  but very very sensitive in every way . The build was tough any small positional change of any component would affect the CG , as a result the plane proved its name before the successful flight  it survived possibly  a couple of dozens of direct nose hits without damage , the Pilot survived as well  ;D.

Here are some photos .
The Video is in Saju's camera  will post it ASAP .
You can see where the plane got its name in the Video. :D ;)

This plane being scaled down and micro size is very sensitive and extremely difficult to control.
Slight controls  can make it go erratic.
This VDO is only check if it can be  flown and also to show the beating it can take  a lot of fine tuning  and pilot adjustment would be required to get it to fly steady.
We only got 1 circuit on VDO but it flew around 4-5 circuits in its second attempt
