Looks like my tryst with Precision Aerobatics is over.  >:( I wrote to them and told them that that into 30secs of flight the motor mount came off, they blamed it on the power-plant and the fact that i didn't use their power plant (how ridiculous can it get). Be that as it may. Motor mount is bullet proofed,  it should now be able to take my power plant :)

In spite of so much reinforcements. That is sad Gusty.

Did some flying in the middle of the town, thanks to Telemetry, you are sure with the link with the radio, she flew like possessed, tracks beautifully, changed the motor and servos to bigger and better servos. Here some are some pics

Early morning flying was good, prop flew off (I guess sudden surge of throttle did it), needless to say, landed safely

Glad to know it's safe sir

The prop should not come off, surge or no surge. Suggest you have a careful look: something is wrong somewhere sir

That's what I am looking at, prolly, it was my mistake, i didnt tighten the prop nut after fitting the CF Spinner, i am going to have to remove the CF spinner and fly without it for a while, though it lasted threee gruelling sorties before flying off, fly  off it did :banghead:

Gusty sir, I have once encountered this problem. The root cause was with the spinner backplate, there was not enough thread length for the nut

Normally the engaged thread length should be at least or more than the nominal diameter of the thread
