Title: prevent crash
Post by: sidd1994 on June 26, 2013, 02:08:20 AM
hello,
I am from bangalore i have bought my first electric RC aeroplane. Its a sky surfer V2 from RC Bazaar. Could the experienced pilots here give me a very small review about it. ;D because i wasn't able to find a proper review about it except for the one on the site.  :headscratch:
I also have a question:
Suppose my plane is coming towards the ground vertically and if i leave all controls alone will this model realign with the horizon because i guess that's what most of the trainer models supposed to do right?  ???

PS: are there any good guides to "how to hand throw a plane"

self leveling of the model depends mainly on altitude and also wind. the model will go into an fairly steep ascent before leveling, so it should be at a descent altitude if you dont want it to crash.
and a vertical crash or nose straight into anything will ruin your battery for sure in such models. i've ruined 2 batteries like that.

@sidd go through rc india gems most of ur questions are awnered there
i had a sky surfer too its pretty much balanced during fl8 and ofcourse the self levelling depends on the wind conditions havent tried it on mine still its better to maintain a god altitude while flying instead of flying low its a very good plane indeed perfect for a beginner. Gr8 work by RCB team to bring such a model.......
