Dear modelers and Members.
Here is my new plane "PUSH-LER" . The name is from two words "Pusher" and "Puller".
I am trying to make this Twin boom Plane as Pusher (for beginners), but it can be Converted into Puller(Tractor) within few minutes.
I started with this plane Yesterday( thinking from long time) but have to be complete within Sweepaway time 8-)
Working from two days, Still will take some days to complete.. will update time to time...
Dimensions
Wing: 8+33+8 \___/
Chord: 7.5
Hor.Stab 13 Elevator : 2.5
Ver. stab 7
2 Booms : Aluminium tube from old Tv Antena.
Stab from 3mm Coro
Fuse with 2mm Coro
Wings with 2mm Coro.
Modelers, plz give your valuable Suggestions and Comments . i want it to be successful.
Your help is Much Needed.. :help:
Few pics from starting...
Boom
Cut from old Tv antena , purchased from Bhangarwala... 8-) pic 1
these are cut in same sizes. There are old but strong and weight very less....
Horizontal stabilizer.
Made of 3 mm Coro. length is 13'' long and width is 4.5 and 2.5' elevator.
Vertical stab. is made from 2 mm coro. there is no rudder..
Vertical stab is connected is horizontal stab. with help of Flex quik , Hot glue .
later cycle spokes are inserted from the flutes of FIN till the end and out through Stab. The spokes keeps the fin straight and gives support to the coro.
Fuse is made of 2 mm coro in square shape . Thermacol is fixed inside the coro Fuse to give strength and rigidity .
Later the stabilizer was attached to the aluminium boom. with the help of Hot glue and Zip ties.
Now time to attach the boom to the wings.
First of all stick some plastics card to the wings , so that while tighting the zip ties coro should not get damage.
Put holes through the card with help of hot nail.
Zip ties worked best to put the boom in place. they also serve the purpose of disassemble easily .
more pics of wing with boom and stab
Now Fuse pics ...
Motor used is 1000 kv .
Motor is attached on 3mm coro and then inserted in the front of the fuse. later it was fixed with help of hot glue.
More pics..

Nice build swiz...all the best for the sweep ;D
Looks like the motor already eat a lot of mud already.. :giggle: :giggle:
Thanks Arun.
Actually this motor is given by my friend which was lying with him from more than a year , so dust has accumulated inside.
Wing is cut with servo size to fix servos for ailerons.
just put the wing with fuse to see the pusher view
tractor view

Thanks roman..
Nice build. Hoep you have enrolled for the RC India anniversary sweepstakes (http://www.rcindia.org/free-donations-and-sweepstakes/rc-india-4th-anniversary-sweepstakes/)
Good try :salute:.............
Just keen to know some pictures has TV program visible prominently :giggle:....and not he plane!! any specific reason or to provide backlight!!!
Thanks Sunlikestar..
Asinghatiys @ : just to show the date.. ;D. not having newspaper that time.
Buy the way i myself hold the parts and clicked by other hand. so the complete pics of the plane was not possible.
No Suggestion and comments from Seniors ???
I may be nitpicking, but the only thing that is shown with any date reference is the fuselage. While I do not assume/allege anything, but we made the rules very clear to ensure a level playing field and equal opportunity for everyone. This means that everyone need to put in effort to convey clearly that the item was in pieces (i.e. unbuilt), with a date reference *in that condition*.
Anwar sir , the only thing better i could hold from one hand and taking pic with another was fuse part.
i dont owe digital camera, the pis are all from my cell.
the decision is all your. if u think that is not enough for the proof.
you can cancel my entry.
if i got time a will build another plane.
i just wanted to get encouragement and valuable comments from u all seniors. so that at least this time my pusher can be successful. Failed many attempts and design for pusher.
I thought u all would like the idea of convertible pusher / tractor.
Thanks
Manoj

@swizera, You should try cleaning it with some machine oil and ear swabs. I do the same for the motors of my quad after a dusty flying session ;D
Super build BTW... {:)}
Thanks very much veloci.
i will surely try to clean it.

Plz see the pic in reply 8 with completed horizontal stab with vertical stab. and the starting pics. with just the booms, only fuse.
i tried to put as many pics as i can click. so that any other newbie can be helped.
Yes, but it is already built (ie, already on a completed frame).
Then again, I don't know how much (and I don't want to) police this thing... I am not enjoying this part at all. I do want the whole thing to be transparent, and as per stated rules. Maybe I should have made a bold line of text in the initial post saying "it is a must to post one picture with all the pieces before it is built, along with a date reference", so that it cannot (or need not) be clarified any further.
Anwar sir , plz don't regret.
i tried to make a plane, from all the scratches parts i have. if the fuse is lying with me from a long time cant i use it in making a new plane ? does i will not be called a scratch build ? usually we use materials from old planes. I have to alter the fuse also.
Sir plz don't regret . this is one of the best part (sweepaway) u have introduced. Just let me know if it qualifies for the sweep .
Then also i will complete the plane and post every bit here. The only thing i want from u all is your Valuable suggestions and comments ( which i am greed of (:|~ ).
Thanks again
