Hi,
For FPV, tractors are useless except backwatch. So, here I designed 2 size of pusher plane with different electronics setup too.
As I cannot post .XLS File, just attaching some screenshot of .xls file.
And here is the .xls file
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0BwGryIQR1d40SUJCb09jdlVLc2M
The two setup of electronics calculated here is
Setup-1
224 gm setup is with
2204 motor,
8x4 prop,
2S,350-500mA Battery
TG9 Servos
Setup-2
AUW 383gm Planes are with
2812 Motor with 7x6 prop and prop saver
H-King 25-30A or Red brick 20/30A ESC
1000mAH,3S 25C Battery.
If you fix 2200mAh battery, AUW will increase and so you need to plave the battery as required inside fuselage.
Please note, landing gear should be high so that it can save the prop.
Thanks Kalyan da :hatsoff:
Looks like a safe startup for me, no props to break kinda stuff, pls post details of FPV when available. Will need more details on the build part though ..so there goes your new years day >:D.
Sir,
Will the prop not be rotating too fast to be visible in the video even in a front-engined plane?
They comes as long horizontal lines or different pattern depending upon the processor speed and motor RPM. I have the videos, but they are not good enough. First video in tractor plane. So, designed this. We have the build logs. Dont afraid. They incorporate some tricky technics too like carpenter, tailor, and even Air conditioner mechanic, electrician ++ ;D
The posting will be sweets at first and then cooking process. If possible, wind tunnel test may be some added flavour for aerospace engineering students. full credit to ROHIT.
Pls post the build logs/pics and FPV videos :)
I will be watching this thread with bated breath ;D Would there be a build using easily available materials like coroplast? :)
Kalyan da what materials are you using? Available locally in kolkata?
