KAMAL PRRET
The dimensions are Olympic glider 2
9894395614 my number pls what's app... I ll provide the drawing...
I have used Clark y airfoil with 10 ℅ camber thickness and 2° angle of attack... Which takes my co effeciency of lift to 1 to 1.2
As a result the stalling velocity is just 20 km/hr....
Here comes the pylon
Always want to make something easy to carry... That leafs to detachable wings
Fuselage....
its great to from you. looking for maiden video
Thank u brother... Maiden video will come very soon...
Made new wings... This time it's two price wing...
Pics of wing and attachment technique...
What does the ply screw into Dev?
Pine spar sanjay sir... Two spine spars runs inside for 50 cms in each wing... They are connected by the ply with screws at top and bottom
OK, this is complicated, and I may well be wrong :headscratch:
but...
The maximum bending moment is at the centre while in flight. In fact, on most corro builds (eg see spadtothebone.net) you will see a fairly standard practice is to use a wing centre ''wrap'' to counter this.
As things are in your build, it may be a point of structure failure. That is, when executing a banking turn, and bending moment on the wing is high, it could break there. One solution would be to use a longer ply strip, but I fear even that may not be good.
Could you possibly have a solid joint at the centre, and removable at the tips of the polyhedral, if that degree of portability will suit you?
If your spar is thick enough at the centre (eg 25 mm) then you could make a tongue-and-groove joint with a single bolt down the middle, and a wing wrap glued on one side, and a push fit on the other.
If Mr. K K Iyer reads this post, it would be interesting to see his very knowledgeable viewpoint too.
Thank u for ur valuable words... Sanjay sir.... I have made two set of wings.... One is two price and the other is three pieces.... Will test them.. And let's see.... Whether the structure is enough to with stand...
Good luck
Sanjay sir... I have a doubt... I have made the ply screws on both sides of the spar... Will that make the two spars act like a single one...
Unable to upload video so some pics of maiden...
Dev, you can't directly upload a video. Put it on You Tube, and use ''insert hyperlink''
Sir... I am using internet on phone... That's the problemmmmm
Sanjay sir... Where can I get balsa spars???
I buy sheets from RC Bazaar or Sharma Models (aeromodelsupermarket.com) depending on who has stock, and cut the spar
