Title: Redswan Balsa plane
Post by: manojswizera on May 01, 2014, 07:23:42 PM
Bought this plane some Months back.
As it was my first ever balsa plane, faced some problems.
Balsa is very fragile to work, But enjoyed the Experience of Traditional balsa build.
Feels Real Aeromodelling.

Thanks to sanjay sir for his Help.

Lost all my previous pics of Build

( Not for Swepstake )

Flew the Swan today.

electronics used
CF2822 motor
8*4 Slow prop
800 mah lipo
20 A esc

It flow very stable. Launch at 40 % throttle. After Airbone it was flying at  just 20-25% throttle.
After 8-10 min flying, the wings got folded in mid air.  :(

sorry for low quality video, not bright, as it was very early morning at 6.15 am.

All the best for the repair

Make sure you use strong dihedral braces
