sir how you made those clamps in the alum fuse? which holds the wing?
and what is the wingspan? and motor?

Hi arun

i cut 4 pieces from aluminium L angle and make hole and fixed with fuse
for wing mounting i attached small bolt in the edge of L angle


wing span 44 inch and chord 7 inch
fuse length 28 inch

motor
Turnigy L2210-1400 Bell Style Motor (210w)

nice build sir.. even i have made a trainer and not done the maiden yet.. was waiting for a lower kv motor and not its ready to fly

now the motor changed to (emax2822)
need good support for wings thats why planning for such clamp.. give me ur suggetions for my plane sir.. :)

the clamp using as wing pod for mounting wing and also landing gear
all four clamp wight is just 8 grams only
it is much stronger than foam
this sunday my two models will maiden fly

consider me a freshman .... i am planning to build a foamy...... but little concerned about which battery to use for max flight time......

i wud be using a 1300 kv Micro brushless motor ... and a 2200 mah 3s battery....... what do u think wud be the possible flight time..... wud the battery be too heavy for the foamy??

yes ofcourse, the battery 3s 22oo mah  comes around more than 200 grams

better you try 2s 1300 mah it comes 70 grams

for foamy model maintain auw below 500 grams
