AMAZING!!!! :clapclap: !!
Awesome.. Really A Great Man.. Hats-off ....
Hats off sir... You are awesome... :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff:
Great piece of art
Need to learn a lot from this guy.. {:)}
"Use what you have rather than complaining that I don't have the right thing"
absolutely stunning... {:)}
@santhosh-r well said.
we have a lot to learn from this guy. nothing is impossible when you put your heart and mind towards it.
If this isn't inspirational for all of us, I don't know what is. A lot of people produce scratchbuilt models out of thermocole on this forum, however, I dare say that no one has achieved such superlative finishing in scale.
My apologies to all those who consider my post an effrontery.
Edit : Downloading the videos now. Mesmerised! :o
+1
respect!
wow! does anyone know what film he used on it??? the black stuff? and what did he use to make the decals??
@aniket: juzz see the videos you will understand.. :)
Gusty, thank you for introducing Ayub Khan here to a larger group of hobbyists. He is a village guy where he has no access to fancy RC products but he is still able to build an amazing RC model out of household items like toothbrush, water bottles and many items which we all simply throw away. A true aeromodeller and a very humble guy.
Here is his one other model he built sometime ago. ;)
An AJ Slick {:)}

:O is this guy on the the forum???!?!?!?!
Is there a build video on rcpak I believe it requires registration, did someone already viewed or downloaded plans video
Ahamed
see my post i have posted three vimeo videos (Downloadable) worth the download and view. there are no plans, (You will realize once you see the video). On his behalf will post pics (Though videos are self explanatory).
Some examples are
(a) Household room heater, discarded motor cycle mud guard and xray film for Canopy
(b) Curtain Hooks for pull pull etc. amazing.
we have our home grown boy too (roopesh), ayub is a notch above no doubt
Thanks Gusty sir can you share the link /thread where u uploaded videos
Great skills.... but it is not that easy as it appears in the videos.
Still awesome to see
Just watched the videos. I am absolutely speechless :o :o :o . Never seen anything like this ever before. Craftsmanship + dedication at its zenith. Thank You so much for sharing Gusty bhaiya, otherwise would have missed this incredible thing.
Wanted to know what he used for hinges ??
@rohit that looked like some blue plastic sheets... Maybe ohp sheet or some labels... Or could be ca hinges

For canopy I used plastic sheets which we use for covering our books and note books
Black stuff is a dark paper which we use in cars, to make wind screen dark.
For decals I used reflector taps, which we use at bus, trucks

Congratulations, Ayub.
I not very much into planes or heli, but this built is simply fantastic :bow: :bow: :bow:
I can see how Ayub saab uses very small and simple things that we can find in our home and had build a fabulous plane to be very frank when i saw the image i was like few items he might have not build. But after watching video i was very much impressed {:)} {:)} {:)} {:)}

actually this was a totally scratch build which I made for competition, It has 280 build pics and videos, so difficult to post all. you can visit this Rcpak link for complete detail! I think you need to make account....

Sir your passion for building planes is so much that you attuned your building skills to make planes from simple household objects :hatsoff:
Yes, RCNeil21, thanks for your words,
As this is an expensive hobby, so I tried to utilize comon things for making this plane as cheap as possible.
I think Rc India should also launch this kind of Electric Desigh Build and Fly Competitions to develop scratch building, it makes the forum interesting.
Yes sir even RC India should come up with such interesting competitions :), it will be a lot of fun.

Perhaps, you are both oblivious of this:
http://www.rcindia.org/free-donations-and-sweepstakes/rc-india-4th-anniversary-sweepstakes/
VC sir, but that competition is already over. There should be a competiton every 3-4 months, instead of random sweepstakes we should give it as prize and have a competition for that, it will enhance our community and also each scratch builder, we will also get to see personal techniques of each builder. There should be build logs like RCPak's competition has.
.
@rcneil there were build logs

Nice one, It mean I entered late at this forum. you can make it more easy and clear as it is!
http://www.rcpak.com/index.php/online-competitions/148-edbf
Yeah but i meant a bit more detailed, in a way which a advanced beginner can make the plane easily. ;D
Yes I agree with you, and I think all build threads of competition should start by specific name, so that viewers can recognize easily.
