I have named my Build log "Scratch and Plan Build" as I am only going to use the Plan for diamensions of the wing other than that everything is going to be scratch build like linkages, horns, etc.

This is going to be my official entry for the sweepstakes.

1. See below pictures of the Tiled plan placed and pasted to get the wing out of it. it's going to be a 24 inch Delta wing which will have Evelon mixing. It's going to be exciting.

Yesterday's progress, Had some spare coro left so decided to use that up first, wing tracing and cut out , Ailerons fixed. You can't do much when you have a little one demanding your attention  ..not to mention wants to help you out in the build..... NO matter how much you try they always attracted to things which are most dangerous like a soldering Iron, Hot glue gun, etc...

Added motor mount, created linkages and servo horns from platic gift cards and  broom stick. added thermocol to make some aerofoil and covered it with cellotape. placed everything on board to check CG now to move things around to get the CG right.

R u using the axn motor on 24 inch delta ? It's going to be too fast and agile..... Take care.

Yes I wanted make this thing as fast as multiplex funjet

You know your model best  still a few suggestions....
1. Embed the servos into thermacol
2. you will require this thing with good weight on nose.... which battery u r planning....
3. have a look at this you may get some idea....i made a 24" wing but the weight looked too much for that so did not even try putting electronics and made a new one.....this after lot of try managed correct weight on nose ( it was way too much then expected) it flew great and was still fast enough with AX 1806N 2500kv Brushless Micro Motor (19g) with 5x3 propellor

Currently, All electronics placed for test flight which will be done this weekend.

I think the approx weight would be around 400 gms and whichever lipo gives me the best CG will be the one for this plane
