U can say its, just there by default!!!!! :giggle: :giggle:

thanks for u comments....U hav always been my inspiration..... :hatsoff:  :salute:

Of course it was computer cutting... except for canopy....I don't hav so much patience and perfection to cut  :headscratch:.....but yes I did the drawing in CorelDraw and get it cut and those people stick it....

For Canopy I have to cut the radium by hand and stick it piece by piece......

Hello friends. i was interested in making a delta flying wing plane and took the dimensions from the following youtube video but I am quite disappointed with the result as it is not able to takeoff. We tried two time and both times it crashed nose down :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:.
I am using Emax 2812 motor with 1000mah battery 30amp esc and 6*4 prop. I am really looking for inputs  :help: :help: :help:on what could be wrong. I hope CG is not a problem since glide tests look normal. I am thinking to put a bigger prop but not sure if i can put a 8*4 prop on this motor.
Love what you do..Do what you love

Hello Veterans...Plz help?? Any input on what could be wrong??

rcpilotacro

appears to be too much of sweep, if it is, then CG will lie outside the wing towards the tail, difficult to measure (Not impossible), looks to be made in a gr8 hurry, patience is the key word,
Gusty's Hangar and Introduction.

A Good pilot will practice until he gets it right,
A Great pilot will practice until he can't get it wrong.

if your Cg and other things are fine, most probably the problem is due to the follwing.
During the launh you have to keep the elevator a bit high (Reflex). generally this is a common mistake people do while flying wings.

You can use Flying wing CG calculator to find the exact CG. Check the link below, i tried to find out your cg by measuring image of your wing, use your actual dimensions to get accurate result.

Hi guys,

It was disaster, on Sunday I lost my wing, crashed on nose, damaged badly, beyond repair...so all I got is electric hardware which I think can be used in my next build....

But most importantly I lost it because of negligence....
We had few spectators on the airoli field, and was flying, got distracted because few people get in the pit, where all the models are kept, making noise, disturbing......

And my model was not too high and it came down on the nose....could not recover.......

I think it is responsibility of fellow modelers who are either seating or doing nothing to keep area clear......but.....at the end I lost my beautiful wing......heart breaking...

Few pictures of my completed and crashed wing......

SLS can you tell me the value of CG that you calculate just to cross check if I am doing it right.
And finally ashJR7202, it is really sad that you crashed this wonderful bird.

If you click on the link, you can see the "CG distance" text box on right which for me came out to be 5.35cm (because i measured the image) also cg is displayed on the wing with a circle. The cg mentioned here is measured on the root cord (center line of the wing) from the leading edge.
