Doesn't matter. The more it rains, the more new models we can expect from your workshop!
Noticed the nice horns on the ailerons. Had not come across before.
Sir,
One doubt I wanted to ask you about since long:
Why are the flutes used
chordwise instead of
spanwise (like spars)?
Regards as always...
Iyer sir, the horns were from a very old, much crashed and retired Multiplex Easystar

If you put the flutes spanwise, they will crease and form two flat sides of a triangle. By putting them chordwise, they are fitted under tension and form a curved surface

Had a successful and safe maiden yesterday
Twitchy little model! Uber sensitive controls.
Will reduce throws, increase Expo, and then take a video ;D
Great built Sir,
Whats the name of the product that you have used to create the body and the wing ( the yellow plastic sheet) And where can i find it in Gurgaon?
Thanks in advance
Ronald
That is known as Corro (Trade names Sunpack - n India, Corroplast-USA, Corrodex-UK)
There is a market in Chunamandi, Paharganj
There is a dealer, Mr. Kalra in Gurgaon, near Shiv Mandir, Sadar Bazaar. But he has limited colours and thicknesses
This is a very beautiful model. Can't wait to see the maiden.
Nitesh, it was maidened in July, flown some 7-8 times, then I gifted it away ;D
Hope the plane is in good hands then.
