Hello friends,

I have been building a cessna 182 since last 3 day.utilized complete Eid-ul-adha holidays building it..
I can take off and fly well. Its landing which sucks :banghead::banghead:

The plane is completely made up of 1' sheet of compressed thermocol. Would be covering it with cellotape to provide extra strength

Time for slight decoration...
And this is how it looks now

Reminds me of my 'Red' Blue Baby !! Nice attempt. Are  you sure you need the aluminium Longeron running through the Fuse ? It would make the plane too heavy, even worse, tail-heavy

I am unable to start this ESC

I use Futaba FF7 72Mhz radio, and

Futaba-R116FB reciever

On reciever
Channel "6" shows the option to connect battery, while throttle control stick works on channel "3"..
I can take off and fly well. Its landing which sucks :banghead::banghead:

KALYANPRODHAN

Channel 6 is for separate receiver battery.

Actually all positive and negative line of all channels are connected internally. So in whatever you connect the receiver power supply (From ESC or separate battery pack,) all are energized even receiver too. So, dont worry.

Connect ESC to your desired channel so that it can be controlled as per your mode.

You may test with ESC in spair channel to power the receiver and servos in all channels.
Now Move throttle and check which servo rotates. Now interchange that servo with throttle.

Whatever convension you use or follow or make, your purpose should be solved.

Thanks
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Thanks kalyan sir..
I got the ESC working on channel 6....  :hatsoff:
but i dont think that that the terminals are connected internally in this reciever :( :(  (its too old), as i could not start ESC with channel 3, while i am successful with ch 6..

On Futaba, for electric setups, you have to reverse the throttle channel, ie channel 3.

Thanks anwar sir, but i made a mistake. I reset all the settings of Tx. Now nothing working. :( :(

Setting up a radio model should not take more than 10mins typically.  Please post what you have plugged into each of the receiver channels, and how you are powering up the receiver (separate battery or with the BEC connection from your ESC).

This stuff should be simple and straight forward.  Another simple option is to visit a local field/flyer, much easier than figuring this out online.

Thanks anwa sir, kalyan sir, now I got everything correct..

I opened up the Rx to find whether all wires are internally connected or not( as said above by kalyan sir).
Yes both wires of power supply they were all connected in parallel, but still i could not start ESC with channel 3(throttle) :P

By that time, I didnt get the reply by you(@ anwar sir). and i always ended getting into programming mode.
I could not figure out what was wrong. :headscratch: :headscratch:

So i got my Tx reset to factory settings. Now i landed up in a big trouble.. ;D Nothing working :banghead: .

I read the manual completely once again.
# First of all the problem was there with the mode.. By default its PPM, but i corrected it to PCM..
# By that time I also got your reply and reversed the throttle channel..

Now everything works fine..

Thanks all  :hatsoff:  :hatsoff:
