Wanted to build a fast building 3d capable profile foamie..as my previous "slowfly 22" crashed due to a radio glitch.
The agenda was to build something that comes together really quick..(in a couple of hours from scratch to fly). Planned to start it on Sunday morning (the only office off day  ;D)..complete it by noon and have a flight by evening the same day.As it turned out, major portion of the day was consumed by a long (on the spot plan) group bike ride..which left me dead exhausted by evening followed by a lumber. Started building at around 8pm after a nap.Sharing how i've progressed till now (upto 10.30 last night) in about 2.5 hrs.

Planned Plane : Sbach 342
Planned Wingspan : 24 inches
Planned Power-plant : Hobbyking Donkey ST3004 with 10A esc on 1000mah 2s with SF8040 prop
Control : 3x9g servos

Step 1. Cutting out the plans on paper

Step2: Cutting out the parts on Biofoam sheet (5mm)
Fairly simple till here...wont go into too much detail as this is all pretty straight forward...would be more than happy to reply to any queries tough.. :)

Step 3 :
a.Trial assembly fit(first pic)
b.Beveling of Control surface Edges
c.Insertion of CF rods (in slots) on wings and Elevator & taping them in place
d.Taping on the Ailerons
e.Assembly of the fuse (using minimal hot glue beads on mating planes)
f.Taping the elevator and rudder

Well this was all i could do (from 8pm to 1030pm) before my eyelids getting heavy again.I wish i could have had more time and completed it (had things gone according to plan). Will really have to squeeze now to find time with a heavy work week looming ahead..but i hope i should complete the build in a day or 2.
Step 4 : Electronics and servo installation (Coming soon... ;D)
