I have just completed my F-22
This is my first ever plane........
going to fly it tomorrow.
need any last minute suggestions before flying
i have decided to fly it with 6x4 prop with 1400Kv motor.
going to fly it without paintjob!!!!!!

She will be extremely underpowered. Rolling take off could be your best option, is there a rudder, how many servos, is it 5 mm foam or 8 mm foam?  , if it is 8 you might as well, scrap it, 2217/6 2212 2000 kv motor is the min setup for this.

I saw the servos, those aren't 9 gm servos? Looks more like STD servos to me. What is the weight of you setup, what is the motor pull, should be atleast 1:1, servos aren't fixed properly either, be careful kushal, don't get disheartened if she doesn't fly well, start from scratch, if that happens

i have made sure that servos are tightly attached to my foam..........
i m using 5mm sheet..........
i m hopeful that it will fly since i gave a test in my hand itself.............i think push created was quite good fot flying!!!!!!

Is vibration of brushless motor common???

tatum012

no brushless motor donot vibrate unless the drum has got misaligned..anyways upload a video of the maiden flight if possible..

Hi.

I believe the information provided by you is very less to give any opinion. However, if you post the complete setup... along with the all up weight and the thrust of the motor used at that prop, maybe we can help...

All the best.
Cheers !!!

Not taking risk anymore.......
i will right away order a better motor suitable for 6x4 prop......
weight of the plane is slightly less than 1 Kg
suggest any good motor.....
thxs for the advice..........

rcpilotacro

since you are at it get 9 gms servos cost only 150 ea and 2212 / 2236 / 2217/6 all available at rcforall.in (Mr Sai). might as well do it right, isn't it ? cheers and happy maiden

Currently i am using Emax 2220/07 motor
i was planning on 6x4 prop which most of the people said that its not a good idea
What if i use 8x6 prop............. it fits in my design and also i may not need to buy another motor!!!!!!!!

ashJR7202

2220/07, is pretty powerful motor!!! but since kv is less u have to use bigger prop say 8"...and that is the problem in jets....will give torque roll and while landing prop will touch ground and may damage motor mount!!!!!!
if you could try using 2200 kV motor!!!

I noticed something..........
my plane experiences torque in one direction when the motor is more than 60% throttle.......
i noticed it when i tried to test it in my hand itself...........
what shd i do??

rcpilotacro

Kushal you cant hand launch her either, low speed high alpha high rpm torque will be difficult to control if you are a newbie, what the heck? give it a go,
