Guys,
I am planning to build and fly the Techone PIaget which I am going to get from RCForAll.
Since i am pretty new in the field of electrics, will need help big time in selecting electronics for the same.

Specifically, I need help in selecting a Motor/ESC/Prop/Battery combo for it.

Here is what I have :
1. 3Cell 500mah Battery pack ( I would prefer to use this rather than buying a new one )
2. Turnigy 28-26-CQ 1300Kv Brushless Outrunner

3. C2226 Micro brushless Outrunner 1800kv

Would you recommend using the above motors with a 3Cell battery and 18A ESC ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Gaurav,
Go with the  'Turnigy 28-26-CQ 1300Kv Brushless Outrunner' along with Turnigy/LHS 18-20A ESC. It should easily airborne models in 300-400g range with the correct prop(try 7x4 or 8x3.8).

I have had a bad experience with the a motor similar to C2226 Micro brushless Outrunner 1800kv (21g). The wire broke off while I was trying to route them through the  bulk head.

Anyway the first motor is given 5 stars comp to 4 star to the other one.

Did you consider Emax CF 2822/12 Or Blue Wonder kind of motor ? I find them easy to mount, give nice performance, and keep much cooler.

All the best and keep us posted.
