Ben at our field started off as a heli flyer.  Then he moved to quads (still plays with them), and has, of late, discovered the joy of building and flying airplanes !

The bipe below was designed by him.  He made the cad drawings, and sent them to some small shop in the US which has a laser cutter. The plans are cut on depron and the balsa bits inside are also custom cut and shipped back.  The design has some cool features like an adjustable wing incidence (which is tricky on a bipe that has a connection between the two wings).

It has a KFm3 wing, with the leading edge smoothened out by sanding.

The 3 holes on the top of this picture allows him to change the angle of attack of the top wing.

The 7th post on the first page show his trick on how to change the angle of the piece/strut that connects the top and bottom wings.
