understanding throttle curve in electric planes

Hello guys
I have serious problem controlling throttle input while flying electrics.
I feel its soo sensative especially in precision n 3d manuevers.
I believe there is a way to smoothen the throttle stick and aerobatic flyers do assign switches to set different curves for flying electric.Example: individual curve for level flights, harriers flights n precision flying
If anyone has tried it or knows about it PROPERLY then please do share your experience.
For now the linear throttle stick is definitely not working out for me.

all the time, i keep it spongy at hover throttle, gives you much better torque rolls and super steady hover and unwanted pitch roll change with change in the prop wash is eliminated, also steadies out the yaw faster after the wall, after the hover throttle i keep it more sensitive for a faster and a more spectacular climb out (May be for a KE or a Blender) for Rolling harrier i prefer linear

Throttle curve (As well as DR & EXPO) is a matter of personnel preference, Clarence 'Radio Rookie' Boudville, another buddy of mine, flies without Expo and throttle curve, so you have it. rest probably we can probably talk it over, you got my number

Not MY personal experience, but I have seen at least one 3D flyer in our field setup his planes using heli mode (H-1 servo configuration).  This gives him a throttle curve on this radio for his airplanes, and he keeps the curve very close to being a straight horizontal line along his hover point.

The right prop is another thing that he says is most helpful in making hovers work.

wow that was something i always wondered.. my 8fg radio has got soo much for heli.. flight conditions n wat not. .. but for airplane its comparitively..  can you expain how do we set up a plane in heli mode.. personally i have no experience of heli.. dats why i d
