A @ meter span combat wing... I designed it for speed and agility
This is hotwired out of eps foam and covered with monokote. ... an better alternative to foam covered with tape. The adhering of the monokote without damaging the foam required some experimentation with the iron temperature settings, but very much doable.
Airfoil PW 1211 ..
2207 2300kv quad motor turning a 5x5x3 prop, 2x9gm servos, 30A esc, .. flies with 3S molicell Li-Ion
Superb flyer..

Happy flying
here are the dimensions for hotwire cutting of the foam.. i.e The wing blank and the cord of the PW1211 cutting templates
The elevons are 3mm balsa covered with monokote with the dimensions as 1)length = 38cm, 2)tip cord 4.5cm, 3)root cord 1cm.. with a straight taper . They are in addition to the dimensions attached.
Beautiful build!
What is the AUW of this beaut?
AUW is 575 gms .. out of which bty is 157 gms
There is one correction .. the airfoil is PW 51.. 100% at root and 120% at the tip.. The washout is induced by the larger elevon cord percentage at the tips and the inbuilt reflex with the elevons in-line with the lower surface.

Power off performance is great for such an aerobatic model!
You noticed it :) . Right... it has a fabulous glide too.. courtesy the low wing loading and low drag ... one of these days I will try and do slope soaring without the prop
