what's the best option for a beginner 3D plane.

Something that's easy to:
*Find
*Setup
*Learn the nuances of 3D flying
*Forgiving enough to remain 3D and not 2D design  :giggle:
*On the pocket  ;D
and
something that's a decent size.

Please advice on electrics too.

Thanks

This is a great choice, from what I can see on our field :

You may need to tweak the rudder throw a bit (to get more deflection).

Vineet is listing 3D planes he got from HK, so watch out on saturday.

My suggestion is Techone Piaget EPP.
It is superb stable and slow flyer and crash resistant as it is made of EPP. I also got this to learn some serious 3D. You can get it from rcforall.

What qualities in a plane marks it as a 3D plane?
One's that I know of is, it has a very large deflecting surface areas, thrust is more than (1:1). What else ?

Any idea if our LHS stock this model?

Here you go : http://www.ebay.in/itm/YAK-54-Beginners-3D-plane-COMBO-TECHONE-/150623154532?pt=IN_Toys&hash=item2311d6f164#ht_2591wt_905 I was eyeing this plane for a long time. Rcforall has this listed on their ebay shop but not on their website. There are only 2 available so buy it before it is gone.

Thanks Rohit... I'm waiting for an opinion on the Edge540 and CAP232 from RcBazaar.
