Title: DIY Brushless ESC/ BLDC driver
Post by: mubarakmohd123 on May 16, 2012, 04:50:35 PM
Respected members

Thanks for your kind help in making the motor.

Now i want to test it with a bldc driver. I have a circuit done, but not working. The circuit is given below. However in this circuit the vcc pin (16) and ground pin(8) is not used.

Do u know any good circuits for brushless ESC?

Please note that voltage is not the only thing. You have to check the current value too. And the ON-state resistance also for those transistor.
So, theb circuit may rotate any tiny Motor whose no-load current is  < 0.15 A, and of course, with no-load condition.
So, you need MOS or IGBT or even Power Transistor (buffered with Darlington / Zikli pair) bridge as switch.
Just search the forum and you will get Application note.

then is that schematic is OK????....just wanna change the components only....or wanna change the whole circuit???

you have to match full throttle generated frequency with voltage * KV considering the no of pole of the motor.

Just read any AC Machine chapter for referance for 3 phase Synchronous motor.

Thanks

pradeep,
thic cct does'nt look ok/ complete.
Generally, in sensorless brushless motors, the Back emf generated  from the coil is given to an  A to D (analog to Digital converter) and is used as feed back to synchronise the switching of the three pase of the motor.
This portion is missing in the given cct. So i wonder if it will work for u.
Cheap brushless motor controllers are available for as low as rs 500.00 and may be a good option.
