Ramarao
yes you can. use 6x4 Prop. :hatsoff:
6x3, 6x4, 5x5.
How did you manage to break the shaft on a top mounted rear facing motor? :headscratch:
@K K Iyer sir
stock elevator and rudder servos didn't glued properly.....while flying suddenly both servos came out from glue...then its hit the ground invert postion doing some rolls..... :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:
The Skysurfer v3 is utter junk compared to an easy star since the day I purchased it last year I was able to do barely one flight and its been downhill since then. RCB even exchanged one as I was a regular at their store but even the second Skysurfer v3 I got seems to have a defective esc and horrible build quality (glue parts need re gluing) esc wire is of very low guage etc. I have virtually packed it and its been in the box since last 8-9 months :( Sorry to Hi-jack your thread !
ordered motor from vibrant hobbies....:)
Can anyone suggest prop for Maximum thrust.....
Thank you
Ramarao
6x4
@manojswizera
Thank you
what is the maximum thrust this motor will produce with 40a Esc and 2200mah battery with 6x4 prop?
more than 800gms
I recently changed the motor, you should rebuild the motor mount to handle power and use 5x5 prop to avoid stalling.
@Mjet
can you please post your motor mount pic ,,,what is thrust you are getting with 5x5 prop
thank you
I have not measured the thrust, but on 6x4 prop I set the throttle at max 40% and still power is more than enough.so I will check on this Sunday and post the experience.
@Mjet
Thank you
how you made that motormount ....please give me some tips.. :) :) :) :)
You need PVC Pipe and a coupler. Cut the pipe in desire length and coupler ( apx 10 mm) for collar.joint with CA and glue mount with hot glue. Drill as many holes you can drill in motor mount.rest pics are self explanatory.
@Mjet
Thank you very much for your suggestions...:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
just recieved motor, today i will build the motor mount........... :) :) :) :) :) :)
@Mjet
i tried to put the motor on old motor .its perfectly fitted on old motor mount....
can i keep the motor on old mount or is there any problem if i keep motor motor like this... :headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch:
Its 👌 ok, try to fix motor mount properly, so it can handle vibrations and thrust. If possible, drill some holes, so hot glue can enter in holes and establish a strong bond with fuse.
Thank you ..... :) :) :) :)
i will do that......
