GWS slow Fly, also can be considered, very forgiving, good lifting power, can be used for FPV later on, Picks up 2x 5000 mah battery also with ease, has only rudder and elevator has provision for aileron, lot of experiments you can do with it, in fact once you move on also, this aeroplane can be your test bench for various stuff you want to experiment with, like gyro, neutral stability test, unstable ac handling etc limitless possibilities. you will never grow out of it,

PS
if winds are strong enough you can land reverse, will post a clip on it. ;D

You can try a tuffy pusher. Will save the trouble of breaking props. I am building one.

Hi Augustinev,
You are a GWS Slow fly fan, Your Picture shows that, how you are respecting it by flying it on a runway fit for Giants.......... ;)

I would love to fly this one day.

Most of my experiments are on GWS, RPM Check, Temp Check Pull Check, Prop Check , Pusher, Tractor, Servo Operate Cam, you name it GWS is up for it , because of its lifting power, 2212 motor & she hand launches at less than half throttle.
Right Word GWS Slow FAN, That's me

Tried flying a newbie's once when there was a lot of gusty winds. It was almost impossible to control. It would fly backward and climb as the wing was like a sail. The plane was flying me rather than vice versa. I suppose it would be alright in moderate winds or need a lot of ballast for penetration.

"Gusty" (pun intended) would know best.
