hi
iam trying install 1045 prop on Bumblebee st2812 930kv motor.motor shaft is not enough to put prop adapter
please help me....
Dont know clearly,
but from the pics it seems that the shaft can hold a small screw.
if its possible than put a small screw, with a bigger head. so that it can hod the prop, also.
some pics of the shaft from above , will make it more clear .
prop drill with scissores ;D ;D ;D ;D. now prop fit on shaft .
i don't know it is correct or not, just tried
some pics here
ya... i too did the same thing ..but this would lessen the strength of the prop, couldn't help it. anyone having any other ideas..
in btw, was the motor from quadcopters.com, and did u check the connectors, they are less than the normal ones...
I was taking about this type of screw.
if it fits , it can prevent the prop to come out of the shaft,
@swizera thank you, iam using prop adapter to hold prop on Shaft
@mohammadadam , this motor bullet connecters are small . i removed those connecters soldered normal bullet connectors
@swizera.
Could you please tell me where I can get this screw...
Thank you
Ramarao
Man bumble bee motors are suitable for dji props... or make two slits inside the prop hole..
thanks Arun
could you please post dji props links available in india
''make two slits inside the prop hole'' :headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch:. could you post pics if you have any :) :) :)
This is how DJI Prop hole look like
So you need to make the hole like this...
Thank you Arun.....:)
Hi,
I am facing the same dilemma and thankfully i bumped across your post. Could you please post some pics on how you solved this problem as bumblebee motors only work with DJI naza type propellers which are very difficult to find in india. Please help. Thanks
@sauravbose1

Ramarao
But guys if you have a DRILL Machine you can use a 9mm bit and drill the centre of the prop to increase the mount hole size of the propeller. It fits perfectly
hi,
gone thru this long time back. ;D
bumble bee motors accept only there own make props. which also have a bad review of breaking in midair.
I have actually flown my bumblebee with broken prop hub and completed my assingmnents using fiberglass tape.
solution
i turned my motors to accept std props. :giggle:
no monopoly's here
regds
:( yeah, i ordered the DJI type props but unfortunately they did not fit so finally i got down to the technique your use, took a big sharp scissor and started scraping bit by bit, also i bought nyloc nuts. After about 30 mins and some adjustments all props are now snugly fit. Thanks for the idea.. :)
Yes, you are right, i order DJI type props and they did not fit. In my case the props broke after hitting the ground and guess what happened in mid air ;), the freaking stock prop nuts came loose and opened. After a broken carbon fiiber landing skid i realized, nyloc nuts are the best, bought a ton of them.
Which motors are you using with bumblebee now and does the motor assemble fit to the stock mount? Thanks
Prop for bumblebee motors?
Its a s simple as making an 8mm hole in normal 1045 prop very stiff and no need to worry about breaking.. atleast for the prop I bought..
Here is a dodeca which I built using the same
Teat flown successfully ;D
