Edf motors

Which motor is good for edf units, a low kv or a high kv motor.? :headscratch:

For EDF high KV is suited best....correct me if I am wrong...

It depends upon the power needed and motor specs..
Some are using 1500kv motors with 4s-6s lipo
some are using 3500-4000kv motor with 3s lipo..
All with respect to the power weight ratio... :):)

For bigger dia fans, go for lower KV motor. For smaller dia fans, go for higher KV motor.

 The import part is motor wattage & higher voltage motors (6S or more) give you good results.
