Also same problame with turnigy motor. I used tirnigy motor with mystery 50amp esc but same motor is very heating while working. So pls some suggetion for these.......

taitil: first of all Dont post this topic in deals and special offers, post your thread in the right topic always.
heating of motor and esc is common to an extent.. and when you fly it the air circulation will decrease the heat.. i am also using the same motor and 35A esc.. the motor gets heated in the ground test but while flying heat was normal.. make sure your connections are okay.. use insulation to avoid short circuit..
this is from my experience, lets see what others have to say..

Check your prop. It should not more loading than 10 x 4.7 inch for 2822 motor. It's a 1200KN Motor for 3S and Maximum thrust 730 gm. And perhaps you have check static test.  When it will fly, as the plane advances, the power required will be lower and so as the heating. What is AUW of the plane ? Always limit the prop withen the power range of the plane. Prop is the mechanical loading. And while replacing I always check prop factor (=Dia x Dia x pitch). It should not be higher than the recomended for the motor.
For 2800kv motor, the prop should not be more than 6x4.

Thank u sir. Sir what mean is (=DIA*DIA*PITCH)

taitil

Thank u arun sir and sorry for this post in this topic.....next time i will take care for this...

KALYANPRODHAN

Dia x Dia x pitch is depend on the amount of air volume it shifts with one rotation of prop.
But this is just my thumb rule of calculation when the given prop is not available and a very close prop have to be checked. but you cannot use this for selecting a slow speed prop to a very high speed prop. This is because there are other several factors such as initial speed and final speed, air density, etc. etc. Augustin is writing a very good thread Please go through it.

Example
######

It is recomended with 6x4 motor, But I have 5x5 prop
So, 6x6x4 = 144 and 5x5x5=125
So, 5x5 prop will underload the motor.

Thanks
