Hi Guys,
I have build a plane whose weight is around 800-1000 gms. Please suggest me a motor for this plane.  :help:

no the motor is not of good quality and ball bearings get damaged soon

i measured the weight of the plane today. It weights about 550gms.

yes the motor you finalised is capable of 500g but you should see the speed, because the kv is low hence the prop required will be bigger size and hence less speed.

Folks Do we have any guideline as to what motor should be choosen for a specific plane and what ESC to be used along with it, this will help all the folks who are interested in building their own plane

My son is using this motor, must have crashed his foamie like 50 times head on, still works fine, this is a combo , you get 20 a ESC. 1350 rs

Per the specs of the motor, it will pull upto 900gms.  Usually you want leave some margin, so its looks like it will be underpowered for your plane. 

The prop is OK (one inch bigger is the recommended one), so is the ESC.

looks good to me except the prop, get better props, i used a 12x6 of the same coy, very flexible
