yes the motor you finalised is capable of 500g but you should see the speed, because the kv is low hence the prop required will be bigger size and hence less speed.
I m using 9 x 6 prop. Is it OK ?
Hi Guys,
A simple Question.
Which is the best motor that can take a weight of around 1.3Kg which can be bought from LHS.
Come on Guys
Folks Do we have any guideline as to what motor should be choosen for a specific plane and what ESC to be used along with it, this will help all the folks who are interested in building their own plane
@jagjit - You really missed the Gems threads for beginners ! There are great threads in that list about how to choose electric power combos.
contact Mr Sai,
My son is using this motor, must have crashed his foamie like 50 times head on, still works fine, this is a combo , you get 20 a ESC. 1350 rs

Hi Guys,
A question.
Will this motor me able to pull a plane whose weight is 1100gms if i use 9 x 6 prop and 25A ESC ? :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=2112 (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=2112)
come on guys.
Per the specs of the motor, it will pull upto 900gms. Usually you want leave some margin, so its looks like it will be underpowered for your plane.
The prop is OK (one inch bigger is the recommended one), so is the ESC.
Thanks Anwar
