What I know that for a twin engine one must set up each motor rotating in the opposite direction to cancel out the torque generated.. :)...but im not sure if i can use normal props for both motors :-\...... i tried to find counter and normal set of props (the prop i require is 6x4 one) out of no luck i failed to get one :banghead:......
:help:Can i use two normal propellers for this set up? if so how? if not where can i get a set of these props :help:
Please help
Thanks in advance :hatsoff:
Have you checked www.rcelectro.com for props - normal and counter sets?

6X3Counter, PM and ask him if he has a standard available.
@VC ...In twin-motor setup how do we calculate the total thrust? Is it like thrust of one motor X 2
@rakshitc
You can use 'normal' props as long as one of the motor is reversed to spin in opposite direction.
Pankaj
thank u very much pankaj sir
saved a lot of time for me
will get a normal prop cW and CCW set

Hi,
what i think is that for a pusher model u dont need to assemble props rotating in the opposite direction as torque being a vector quantity will act perpendicular to the plane of the prop. it will actually follow the right hand thumb rule..so u should have both the props rotating in the same direction...if they rotate in the opposite direction the torque generated will be opposite to each other and act as a couple.
and if you have a gyro, can take output to balance the motor variations.. fly nicely.. :thumbsup:
