:banghead:    i was planning to leave electrics and enter glows  :banghead: :banghead: :o :o
still i think they will be costly ones like rim-fire  ones will take time to beat the market of turnigy , emax and other hk motors

Every time someone brings out a 4stroke glow engine powered scale model, all the electric fliers in the field go "Can't beat that sound and feeling" ;)

Cheers to that, and there are some of us who are addicted to the smell of it.

How can glow ever die... But I like the motor by OS... Must be expensive...

This is good news, they will definitely put in lots of RnD in motor design. Which the chinese will copy and serve us at lower cost

Glow will never die... But electricals are the future of RC... Its never late for a well reputed company like OS... As we all know about the quality of OS engines so would be there motors (I guess)... but i doubt about their strong presence in the small motor maket, they may be concentating on large motors for big planes and helis rather than motors for foamies etc if they do, they many not be able to compete with the small manufactures due to prices...

Electrics can't be compared to the torque of a glow & gas engine :) aerobatic fliers can understand what i mean to say.

noop i do not understand can u explain

ice brakers for example use electric motors for its superior torque , as far as i know only a steam engine can beat a electric

motor in torque

or do u mean electric  cant be compared  to glow do it have more torque and power?
