With all logic it is possible to have 2 motors connected to one ESC.

Connecting motors via Y cable ( usually the  servo cable) is a bad idea.

points to be seen...
1. ESC capacity to be more than double the motors can draw since the winding will be in parallel which would make resistance in parallel .
2. motors should be identical
3. motors may not run at same RPM.

so basically i should use a 60 amp ESC foe both in place of a 30 amp for both... because 1 motor requires a 30 amp ESC

rastsaurabh

yes... it will work.

But

Why you need to run motor... if its a plane i will suggest not to use one ESC for 2 motors.

ohk.... thanks bro !! but then can i put 2 ESC's  in 1 channel only??

yuvraj singh

and the battery should be doubled or the same mah!!

rastsaurabh

yes you can put 2 Escs on same channel.... there you can use the Y cable.
cut one of the red wire ( +ve ) to Receiver.

Put both ESC on one channel via Y-Cable and it will surely work..(and don't forget to calibrate throttle range of both esc)
goodluck
