A friend wants to sell a JR DSX7 2.4Ghz radio with an RD731 7 channel receiver and 3 ES539 servos. Comes with charger and bind plug.
The system is pretty much brand new, I am told that it has close to one hour of testing time on it, and he tried to setup an indoor heli with it. He is moving out of RC. It has never been taken to an outdoor RC field.
Note that this is DSM-J system, which is the reliable DSM system built for the Japan market. Unlike DSM2, this system does frequency hopping. People who need a reliable radio would find this radio a very good choice (especially the ones who are flying costly models).
Let me be very clear about the downside of this system too. This system, by virtue of being incompatible with the much mode widely used DSM2 systems from Spektrum/JR, will not work with the cheap clone DSM2 receivers sold by HobbyKing etc. Also, second hand receivers alone might not be as easy to find as the earlier DSM2 standard.
He is willing to let go of the whole thing for Rs.9000 plus shipping. Let me know if there is genuine interest, otherwise he may try to bundle it with something else and try to sell it here. I might be able to get small concessions.
This is Mode 2 (throttle on the left). The receiver is a full range receiver with satellite.
Couple more pictures.
sir ,where is the location of radio?
Anwar sir, would you recommend this radio as a first radio for an aspiring heli guy? 8-)
Actually sir, I am interested in this radio. Could you PM me the contact details of the seller? :)

It will be shipped from Kerala around the 5th of July, if there is confirmation by July 2nd.
The owner is a native Arabic speaking friend. He is not on any forums, from what I know. But I will be responsible for the item, and will be checking it before shipping it out.
This can be a life-long radio with all standard heli and plane features. The only thing that would be hindrance would be the cost of spare receivers. So if you are planning for many models, especially small park flyers, then this may not be the right investment for you.
After mentioning the forum, he has agreed to come down a bit, so the final price is now Rs 8000 plus shipping.
Can you put an Assan module?
Sorry for the noob questions, just want to make sure. :)

Of course you can put the Assan/FrSky modules on these Radios. But you have to open the Tx for that and take help of some one good in electronics (soldering etc).
Few folks in Bangalore like Raghavendra, Vinay and myself should be able to help you.
It is not a "removable" module type of radio, so you will have to use the "hack" module. That would involve opening up the radio, and doing some soldering, which is best avoided if you have NOT been doing such stuff already (or seek assistance with this).
There is someone who has already expressed his confirmation in private, so it is currently "booked" for him. If that falls through, it will be open for sale again. If there is no confirmed sale by noon on July 2nd, the entire sale will be called off, and the owner will sell it locally here.
