Thanks Dhruv, I appreciate your suggestion. I have just started with this hobby and want to get a reliable 6ch system. Have read a lot about Dx6i but couldn't get one due to budget constraint. Looks like I will go for FS 6ch. :)
Go for the RCB6i from www.rcbazaar.com
There you go : http://rcbazaar.com/products/2011-avionic-rcb6i-24ghz-6ch-transmitter-with-receiver.aspx
I was thinking about http://www.quadkopters.com/product/flysky-fs-t6-2-4ghz-6ch-transmitter-and-receiver/
What would you suggest?
That is also good... flysky receivers are more easily available and it is a very big brand...
Try searching the forum for any other sale of tx or search for reviews of the tx you listed
I would also recommend you to have a look at the other Local Hobby Shops http://www.rcindia.org/rc-outlets-and-resellers/mega-list-of-all-rc-outlets-in-india/
Thanks a Ton.
P.S. Sorry Dhruv for high jacking your thread. It helped.
:P Sorry Dhruv!
Bump!
Sumit, Two thing you have to decide.
1. FST6 has 20 model memory over 8 model memory of RCB6x.
2. RCB6x needs 4 nos AA battery and advantage of adjustable Tx power over 8 nos AA battery in FST6 with fixed Tx power.
I will recommend for RCB6x as a starter as it's RF link is technically more reliable though for both Power is 20dBm. Just for information, both Tx RF power section work on 3.6 - 5.0 volt and not on 12 volt though the battery is 12 v (8 nos AA).
FST6 has smarter look-up, faster setting etc.
Also remember that flysky is a more Universal brand whereas the RCB6i has more quality put into it...
The power selection in the RCB6i is good for range checks and indoor flying etc and you get a backlit lcd screen and a dual mode system.
Thanks Prateek and Kalyan. I would go for the RCB6i as it is cheaper and will use less just 4 cells ( easy to manage ) and as Prateek said it has better quality, I feel like it fits the bill for me. In future if I feel the need of advance features, I would go for Spektrum
Keep up the good work guys.
