Sorry Iyer, for some reason I did not get email notification of your post. The retract has been very successfully used by me on easystar. The wheel dia is 4.5 cm, frame is about 10 cm long, 3 cm wide. As far as electronics are concerned, it just requires a micro servo. I recommend metal gear servo. You can check out my video of easystar where I have shown how it works.
And yes I gifted Jenny Curtis to someone.
