hi
i think asp engines are also good as i was using one for almost a year still its running good
i was using futaba basic rc till date now after reviewing the experience of turningy and frsky radio i think that the radio is as equalently good as hitech optic 6ch radio
iam also planing to buy one next month saved almost 50% of the value from my savings
even in this form i have seen many seniors are using asp engines
when it is getting in lower price why should one invest in costiler ones because of its brand value
eg: sony for high class
philips for middle class
Thanks for Information... :hatsoff:

hi,
i dont understand, this post is for selling items. the owner has his reasons to sell and negotiate.
Its the question of the buyer, if really interested will buy it at what ever amt it is.
people who are not interested in buying should not open their big mouths and spoil sale. its between the seller and the buyer to decide.
i request people to not post negative feedback against a sale. whatever is put on sale has been purchased and money has been invested. let the serious buyers decide.
Especially this forum member bessie seems to be more interested in spoiling the deals rather than buying.
and lastly this hobby does not come for free. you have to spend.

But there is also a difference between new and used. You need to factor that. Also there is no real information on the airplane. Make, etc., etc.

Dear Sushil Ji,
Make is an Immaculately built Styro plane, with a wing span of 66 inches, Designed and made by Harveer and his family. Flown by about 100 people in Indore, who have learnt to fly with Harveer and his father, and about the same number in a lot of other places.
What is the standing of DLE engines today? and what was it when they were put into the market for the first time. So everything needs time to make a mark for itself. This plane is one of the most forgiving planes to learn on. I'm sure everyone has seen the crash photograph of one of the styro trainers...... We will put up the repaired photographs too and the cost of repair. I'm sure a balsa plane would never take to the air after a crash like that one.
Does something have to have a brand name for it to be good?
If that is so then the scratch builders and those making SPAD's are not good enough to be in the hobby......... Right.
Doc
Please advie details and cost for the kit. Khalid 9246876444

Hey! Can't understand why someone is getting rubbed the wrong way. Sure, I may - or may not - know the origin/details of the plane but a beginner, for whom this intended, may not.
And, flyingdoc, no, it does not have to be branded for it to be good, but, for better or for worse, branding does influence the price. I can give several examples - within and without RC products - if needed.
And, let me be absolutely clear. I was not trying to knock anyone. Just attempting to put things in a different perspective. Sorry if that could not be handled and was taken amiss.
 @Ron....good thing is that you are gettign free bumps out of whatever discussion here ....... :hatsoff:..all the best for the sale.

I think we need to make something clear here. If someone is posting a selling price without considering market realities (i.e. current FAIR market price, be it used or new), then it is only fair that the buyer is cautioned. One way to do that would be via PM, and the other would be openly posting it. We have seen multiple cases of people being taken for rides by some LHSes with exorbitant prices, just because the buyer was not aware of alternatives. Would you want to be informed of alternative cheaper sources for the SAME item, when you are buying from an LHS ? Of course yes. I think it is only fair to apply the same to classifieds also.
An objective of RC India is to make the hobby accessible to everyone, so I think it is only fair to point out market realities. But it should be done in a dignified way, considering the price and availability of the item IN INDIA, and not with giggly smilies which may be construed as insulting/ridiculing.
Of course the seller can insist on a price, based on what he acquired it at. But capitalism seems to have its own rules.
PS: I DO NOT mean that this particular item is quoted without considering market values. The above post is just a bit of thinking aloud... not taking sides at all.
