Hello!!
I stay at Mahim,Mumbai. I ordered a Dx5e DSMX 2.4 GHz transmitter (Mode 2) and AR600 receiver this march. I have not used it a single time. Just put in batteries and verified its perfection on pc. I am selling it because my college project got cancelled.
I checked with the prices at local stores .. and am quoting Rs.12000 you can haggle for a good price but trust me you wont .. the complete radio is literally new.
you are welcome to visit my home and see for yourself. just get a receiver battery along as i have practically not used the setup at all.
If you are interested call me on 9869209684. morning time is cool. evening i am busy studying. weekends will be fine for a visit.
P.S:- Also let me know in advance if you need a simulator system for the radio. My group built an interface for that. but we couldn't test it. if you want i can secure that for you. EXPERIENCED SELLERS PLEASE COMMENT ON THE PRICE
Hi Akshay price is high ..
roger that!! i reduced the price by 2000 . I rechecked the local price .. turns out the futaba 6 ch is for 19950.
so i scraped the price proportionally to the channels and lcd screens :giggle: . but not ethically as is clear from the silence :banghead:
thanks,
akshay.
P.S: Most of local hobby shops in mumbai sometimes charge atrocious price (sorry LHS) :o... at least when i go to check in on them :headscratch: .. hence this might be reflected on the price tag.
pls post the pictures it will attract the potential buyers
hi,
would be interested in taking if price is negotiable.
how much did you get this radio for?
regds
hello!!
It cost me 190 USD to get it intact from Staten island , NY. Put in extra charge for online transaction at around mid march.(i have transaction date detail)
Please note that this is DSMX version not DSM2(which was for around $70 and is now discontinued)
regards,
akshay

hi,
the new ver ( DSMX) retails at 110$. chk spektrum site. add shipping.
what was the price when u bought it?
becoz no lcd and programing. price should be low.
regds.
The details of cost are
Dx5e DSMX (v2)transmitter = $79.99 (DSM2 was available for $60)
AR600 receiver = $ 59.99
shipping cost USPS= $50
total $190
I checked the site.. the modulation is DSM2.. mine is DSMX . also receiver provided is AR500.. i have AR600 ;D
P.S: plus point .. its all >NEW< .. its what you can call "virgin" material (:|~. .. a centenary bargain is preferable. :)
Bump #1
Its 99 USD with the receiver

But the main problem is how high the price is when compared to the airtronics SD-6G from rcd (Rs 9000) or the hitec optic 6 from rotor (Rs 12,000)
Hmm.. you are right $99 is the price now. however horizonhobby states "Orders in excess of $50 cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes" and it is charges $108.09 for USPS expedited shipping.
as for the other brands it is FHSS... and AFHSS.. different than spekturm's DSMX and futaba's FAAST.
anyways, thanks for the heads up.
My friend all the FAAST DSMX are just fancy names for DSSS+FHSS (constantly agile DSSS) hybrid sytems the hitec is the same so is the airtronics even the chinese Frsky, corona, flysky 9x stuff is the same. Bottom line is you've ended up paying more than you fairly should have. Which is working to your disadvantage at the moment.
flying truck... i get the perspective.. a quick real time tally gave me Rs.10 681.11 as the current price.
I have brought down the price to Rs.10600.
