Looks like it comes with a radio as well. As I said, a good photo in all angles and the spares you are giving would be useful.

For future reference, I feel it is not fair to have a somewhat fake minimum, and then have a hidden reserve. So going forward, on such transactions, please ensure that the minimum bid proposed is also the reserve.  There is no point in making people bid on amounts which are already known to be unacceptable to the seller.

The difference in these "auction" sales is that multiple buys get a chance to procure the item, if they are willing to spend a bit extra.  I believe this works to the benefit of both buyers and sellers.

Anwar, In terms of Ebay, the system itself will tell if a reserve is met or not. But here since the Reserve price will be known by the Admin and will be shown only at the end of the auction, it increases the curiosity to bid. Seeing a reserve price of 14k will shock any bidder, though it seems like a resonable price. Some time the seller may want to sell it at a lower price as well. In this case, if the auction ends at 13.5 k, speed racer may be willing to trade the 500 off and give it at 13.5 k (Just an example since its a second hand product). This kinda reserve price looks like a good go. Just my 2 cents.

Vinay - Using your own example, the "willing to settle" part is only Rs500 less.  What I found manipulative is that the minimum bid has nothing to do any sort of reality/hope for the bidder !  If the minimum bid is anywhere close to the reserve (or "willing to let go" price), them it sort of makes sense.

I was Kinda "bumping" your post ;). I am not yet looking out for a buggy yet. My higher priority is to buy a real car to carry my planes/Helis ;)
