Sir, Assam is served by all major (and minor) courier services. Speedpost delivers documents and parcels from Mumbai in 4 days flat. For your information, major brand names like Nike, Reebok, Levis, Pepe, Wrangler are also stocked in their own bespoke showrooms. Dominos, Pizza Hut and KFC are also here. 5 Star D hotels (6 of them) are under construction at Guwahati. There are a number of BMW's, Hummers and Benz on the streets. Tobermory, Blue Label, Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, Absolut, Grey Goose are available at the corner stores.

We have our own IIT in Guwahati and the IIM (in Shillong) is just 100 Km away.

Sir, we don't just grow tea and dance bihu and shoot rhinos in Assam. Come over and experience it for yourself. :salute:

FG, too, is available here, I am just too lazy to go out and buy it. As a matter of fact, I just destroyed FG material including resin and accelerator by leaving it out in the elements for a year and consequently had to throw them away.

Now how much will two sheets of FG cost me? Thank you but I don't need 4 sheets.

Warm regards.

Hi VC

Can you please let me know what resin you are using for fiberglass cloth. Couldn't find any in my ci-tea  ;)

abhayf14

ok i will give 2 for  :Rs:350 dont call me sir i am just 19

VC

Abhay - Let me have your bank details pls so that I can remit the money. Or else if Sanjay Rai Sir is taking some, he will pick it on my behalf.

Ankur - there is a special epoxy and accelerator that is sold separately. The latter is deep blue in colour. However, I believe we can use standard 24 Hr setting epoxy like Araldite. Does an equally good job. I will be experimenting with this combination on a boat hull.

use araldide available on hardware shop, best for fg

sanjayrai55

Abhay,

There are many people on this forum, me included, who have bought extensively from HK. There are also many people here who sell HK items.

Never have I come across anyone who wants to sell an item costing $ 0.89 for Rs. 200, and who then informs me his cost is Rs. 120 and if I buy direct it will cost me $ 6.

It is not about the money. I can easily afford it, and in fact have given free thousands of rupees worth of modelling stuff to forum members. It is that I don't like being played for a sucker. You will find soon enough that most of the forum members think the same.

I wish you luck with your sale, but can assure you that nothing would coerce me to be a party to this kind of heinous transaction

VC

Rai Sir +1. I am with you on this. Can't let this pass. Sorry, please count me out of this sale.

If the Moderators of this forum bind me to it, as I have committed to the purchase, I will go ahead with the deal. However, the protest should be on record.

Regards.

dear sanjayrai and yash and maybe others (except vc)

look i myself know that i am not selling gold or diamonds

also i am not a retail shopkeeper whom u and ur friends except vc approach with such a mindset

but things are not materialistic rather precious to me because they polish my skills and this distinguishes u and me

Also please for rcindia.org's sake, dont fill this website with low mentality posts instead of something innovative and creative

yash10896

So if u sell smthing with more than 100% profit than its creativity and if we talk against u than its low mentality...

//look i myself know that i am not selling gold or diamonds//

:) Sure. You are selling 31 gms of cloth at 200!

//Also please for rcindia.org's sake, dont fill this website with low mentality posts instead of something innovative and creative//

I take this as a PERSONAL INSULT. Who are you to pass an opinion on my posts? How many of my 1389 posts have you actually read?

Low mentality?? We all have seen your mentality, 16 posts old, and have proclaimed your RC skills as "advanced!"  We have seen many like you my little friend, out to make a quick con.

If you are like this at 19, I dread to think what you will be like at 29! The crooked tendencies seem already well developed.

VC

Abhay, With reference to the above, IMHO an apology is in line and I don't understand the "except VC" part.

Dear all -

9.  One of RC India's goals is to prevent its members (especially beginners) from overpaying for RC items.  Towards this goal, it is deemed OK that if the SAME item (as the one put on sale) is available LOCALLY for a better price, then it is OK for others members to POLITELY point it out to the seller in private or in public, and request him to adjust his pricing.

You were politely pointed by Sanjay Sir ! (and Anjan later) but you chose to stick to your (a) greed (b) Discourteous behavior (c) Most importantly not reading (like most lads of your age do, these days) posts to find out whom are you firing your salvo at.

Despicable behavior to say the least, by this behavior (a) you loose your credibility for ever (b) your further sales (since, it is apparent that you are here for quick bucks) will get hampered. i can give you many examples of people behaved moronically (like you did ) and had to eventually abandon their position here as well as on the web (some even had to close down their online shops)

I advice you to son ! never ever to do that again

Sage words of advice, Gusty sir.  :salute: :salute:

Let us hope the young man in question sees the meaning behind these words, treats this incident as an aberration and moves on. I for one would love to see him developing into an important contributor on the forum.
