All you need to do is light the candle provided with the kit and the lantern just fly away.

Hi,

check this link...Make sure u link the solid fuel is tied well with the wire provided..(u wouldnt want it to fall in between flight on something inflammable)...Launch it wen it becomes very light n starts to leave from ur fingers

@RCHero - Size of a full blown lantern is abour 3 to 4 feet in height height and around 2 - 3 feet width (radius)
