Is it OK for others to point out alternate prices for classifieds items

No... period.
Yes, if it is grossly overpriced.
Yes, if it is cheaper elsewhere.

Well, I think there should be a separate online website on which people can sell the products on "SALE". Because transferring money to personal accounts is always suspicious. Questions arise in mind that " will the seller dispatch the product after taking money".
There should be some payment options on that website like ccavenue.
Sellers will post there add on rcindia.org like now. But the actual selling take place on that separate website.
Also there are chances of lhs buying those products in less price and sell them on their own lhs website at actual rates. That is not good for buyers but a win win situation for lhs head.
I think someone has to start a selling website for RC products. Maybe the name is rcindia.in

That is only a suggestion. Personal opinion.

I have one more suggestion as a guideline for consolidation of sale posts. Spamming the sale thread with multiple posts for different items that one member has to sell means people need to bump more often.
Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.
